Mr. Atul Bhatnagar, ex-COO, NSDC, joins Youth4work as an Advisor



New Delhi, 26th July 2016: Youth4work, an online platform, helping youth in self-assessing, improving and showcasing their talent has expressed its happiness in announcing that Mr. Atul Bhatnagar, Ex-COO, NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation) as its Advisor. The veteran who needs no introduction has bagged awards at an international level as the “Male Diversity Champion” for Barclays Worldwide and “Best COO” in Africa during his stint in Barclays, Kenya.



Speaking on his joining hands with Youth4work, Mr. Atul Bhatnagar said, “I am equally excited to start a new journey with Youth4work. It is actually a unique concept and fulfils a need-of-the-hour for promoting employable skills amongst youth in India. A Mechanical Engineer from prestigious IIT-Kanpur, Mr. Bhatnagar started his career with Tata Motors (formerly known as Telco in 1985). After two years stint in Tata Motors as Graduate Trainee Engineer, he did his Post Graduate Diploma from IIM, Calcutta in Management (Finance and Marketing). He has over 20 years of banking experience having worked with 3 of the leading banks in the world — Citibank in India, HSBC in the Middle East and Barclays in Kenya.



Having acquired skills in the best-in-class organizations in the world, he came back with his family to join NSDC as the Chief Operating Officer. He had a wide variety of responsibilities which led to the setting up of the skill development ecosystem in India. He has now taken the responsibility of advising start-ups like Youth4work to progress the vision of the Hon’ble PM, Shri Narendra Modi, to make India the ‘Skill Capital of the World’.
